Greene County Farm Honored with Century Farm Award, Cook Says

HARRISBURG – The Smith Family Farm in Center Township, Greene County, was honored today by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture as a Century Farm. Rep. Bud Cook (R-Greene/Washington) joined in the celebration by presenting the family with a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in recognition of this generational achievement.

Cook, Policy Committee Host Hearing Hundreds of Feet Underground on Positive Impacts of Coal

SYCAMORE—Today, Rep. Bud Cook (R-Greene/Washington) and the House Republican Policy Committee, led by Chairman Josh Kail (R-Beaver/Washington), convened a hearing to discuss the economic benefits of coal, the most abundant fossil fuel on the planet. Unlike any other, this hearing took place hundreds of feet underground in the Harvey mine, where bituminous coal mining has taken place for over 150 years.

Benham, Cook to Hold PBM Reform News Conference in Greene County
