Hard-to-Read License Plate Event and Backpack Distribution
Hosted by 50th District State Rep. Bud Cook

Thursday, July 11, 3-6 p.m.
Greene County Fairgrounds Building #8
Waynesburg

If your license plate is difficult to read, you could find yourself paying a fine. Get the plate replaced for free at this upcoming event. A registration plate is deemed illegible when one or more numbers or letters cannot be recognized from 50 feet or if the registration plate shows any blistering, peeling, discoloration or loss of reflectivity.

Pennsylvania State Police will be on hand to view driver’s plates, and if the plates are deemed illegible, paperwork to start the replacement process will be completed.

To RSVP, call 724-929-2660 or register here. Those who register online will be contacted to schedule a specific appointment time.

PLEASE NOTE: We are also teaming up with PSP to distribute backpacks with school supplies to area students during this event. There is no cost for the backpacks, and they will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
