Cook Names New Harrisburg Secretary

January 6, 2021

HARRISBURG – Rep. Bud Cook (R-Fayette/Washington) has welcomed a new face to his team committed to serving constituents in the 49th Legislative District.

Lisa Shenfeld has joined Cook’s legislative team as his Harrisburg secretary. Her duties include welcoming visitors; managing Cook’s Harrisburg calendar; and scheduling meetings, managing expenses, meeting with constituents and assisting them in Cook’s absence. Another important duty she has is to track, monitor and research legislation. “I’m happy to have Lisa join the team,” said Cook. “She has over 15 years of experience working in the state capitol and I know she will bring a voice of value.”

Also part of Cook’s dedicated team is Rachel Willson, district office manager; Janet Myers and Melonie Ochkie, constituent outreach specialists; and Michelle Swab, communications coordinator.

“I love having a group who works hard, cares a lot and helps me fight for our constituents,” continued Cook. “Rest assured knowing that a fair, accountable and transparent government is as important to my team as it is to all of you. We are here to represent your voice and are always listening to your concerns.”

Constituents are encouraged to reach out to Cook’s district office at 724-929-2660 with any questions or concerns they may have during the upcoming session.
