WASHINGTON COUNTY – Rep. Bud Cook (R-Washington/Fayette) has announced that his town hall meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 5:30 p.m., has been canceled due to being recalled to session.
Speaker of the House Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) recalled members to address a variety of issues. Topics to be addressed include the Wolf administration’s statewide mask mandate in schools, the disaster declaration related to Hurricane Ida, regulatory waivers and suspensions existing since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the opioid crisis.
“I always look forward to connecting with constituents and hearing their concerns,” Cook said. “However, addressing recent issues caused by the Wolf administration is a priority and constituents can be sure that I am fighting for their freedom in Harrisburg every time I am out there.”
The meeting was set to be held at The Market House in Charleroi. A new meeting time will be announced when available. To speak with Cook about local or state-related matters, call his district office at 724-929-2660, or send a secure message through his website at
