WHAT: Rep. Bud Cook (R-Washington/Fayette) will host a Women in Leadership Conference where several females from different industries will come together to share their stories of leadership and success.
Panel one will consist of Pennsylvania legislators including Reps. Donna Oberlander (R-Armstrong/Clarion/Forest), Valerie Gaydos (R-Allegheny), Carrie Lewis DelRosso (R-Allegheny/Westmoreland) and Natalie Mihalek (R-Allegheny/ Washington). Oberlander will also serve as the keynote speaker.
Panel two will consist of women in other industries including Dr. Dale-Elizabeth Pehrsson, California University, president; Carmelle Nickens, Rural Arts Collaborative, founder; Kristie Salzman, Washington County sheriff deputy; and Tina Walker, Centralized Services, deputy superintendent.
Panel three will consist of women in the trades including Heaven Caldwell, CDL instructor; Claire Cawley, Painters Union, organizer; Michelle Herron, The Mon River Industrial Group, chief financial officer; and Jennifer Orr, Harmony Acres Dairy, owner.
