Cook to Host Jefferson-Morgan School District Town Meeting
April 17, 2023
WAYNESBURG – Rep. Bud Cook (R-Greene/Washington) is hosting a town meeting for Jefferson-Morgan School District communities on Thursday, April 27, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the school auditorium.
He is encouraging residents, business owners, borough and township officials, county commissioners, and all with an interest in supporting their communities to attend.
“Open lines of communication are vital to my work to represent the people of Greene County and the 50th District,” Cook said. “Let’s work together to make our community the best it can be so people will Come Home, Go Big and Have a Ball.”
As Cook is new to representing Greene County after legislative redistricting last year, he is planning to host town meetings in conjunction with each of the local school districts. The goal is to create a “Greene Team” to help promote all the region has to offer.
RSVPs are requested and may be made online at RepBudCook.com or by calling 724-969-2660.
The school auditorium is located at 1351 Jefferson Road, Jefferson.
The Jefferson-Morgan School District includes the following communities: Jefferson and Morgan townships, and the boroughs of Clarksville, Jefferson and Rices Landing.
