WAYNESBURG – Rep. Bud Cook (R-Greene/Washington) is hosting a town meeting for Central Greene School District communities on Thursday, Sept. 21, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Waynesburg Central High School auditorium.
He is encouraging residents, business owners, borough and township officials, county commissioners, and all with an interest in supporting their communities to attend.
“Open lines of communication are vital to my work to represent the people of Greene County and the 50th District,” Cook said. “Let’s work together to make our community the best it can be so people will Come Home, Go Big and Have a Ball.”
As Cook is new to representing Greene County after legislative redistricting last year, he has been hosting town meetings based on local school districts. The goal is to create a “Greene Team” to help promote all the region has to offer.
RSVPs are requested and may be made online at

The auditorium is located at 30 Zimmerman Drive, Waynesburg.
The Central Greene School District includes the following communities: Franklin, Perry, Washington, Wayne and Whiteley townships, and Waynesburg Borough.
