Cook: Close to $200,000 Secured for Greene County Transportation Improvements

December 29, 2025

GREENE COUNTY – Rep. Bud Cook (R-Greene/Washington) today announced nearly $200,000 in state funding has been awarded for a critical transportation infrastructure project in Greene County through the Multimodal Transportation Fund.

The following grant was awarded:

• Jefferson Township will receive $176,056 for reinforcing a deteriorating culvert under Goslin Road, which will allow the road to stay open and prevent flooding from a collapse.

“Investing in infrastructure is investing in the safety and future of our communities,” Cook said. “This funding will allow for a much-needed repair that keeps Goslin Road open and safe for residents while preventing flooding and costly damage.”

The Multimodal Transportation Fund, administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, provides grants to municipalities, councils of governments, businesses and economic development organizations for projects that improve transportation safety, enhance mobility and support economic development.
