District 49 Residents Represent at PA Farm Show
On Wednesday, I once again visited the Pennsylvania Farm Show and had the opportunity to meet up with several District 49 residents who either entered their animals or products in competitive exhibits, participated in the many interactive contests, took in the entertaining and educational displays, or tasted the hundreds of different food items made right here in Pennsylvania.
You can watch my interviews from the 103rd Farm Show by clicking on the video links below.
Locally, there are also a lot of blue-ribbon worthy entries from the 49th Legislative District at this year’s Farm Show. Be sure to check out the frequently updated list of winners at www.farmshow.pa.gov. The site also includes hundreds of photos from the week, categorized by competition.
Best of all, there’s still time to experience the largest indoor exposition of its kind along the East Coast. The 103rd Pennsylvania Farm Show will wrap up Saturday, after hundreds of thousands of visitors have walked through the doors at the Farm Show Complex near Harrisburg.

Veterans Should Review Benefits
As the New Year starts, the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) suggests veterans review the benefits they have earned through their service.
Veterans should check with a veterans service officer to see if a change in their circumstances or in benefit policies could make them eligible for different programs.
Veterans are encouraged to apply for federal health care and state benefits by visiting their local county director of veterans affairs or area accredited service organizations.
County directors can be found by clicking here.
