Cook to Host Town Hall Meetings

Cook’s Office to Hold PennDOT Flagger Safety Training

BELLE VERNON – Rep. Bud Cook’s (R-Washington/Fayette) office will hold a safety training course for those interested in working for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) as a flagger. The one-day course will be held on Saturday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 10 Main St., Belle Vernon. Bill Freed, a workforce training and credentialing coordinator with Pittsburgh Community Services Inc., will lead the course.

Cook Announces Grant for California Area School District

The district will be awarded $9,814.94 for curriculum and experiential learning as part of the Farm to School Grant Program administered by the Department of Agriculture.
